Insurance Advisor Dorcas George brings thirteen years experience to Veritas in the field of Medicare and Long Term Care.

She served as an Ombudsman for the Wisconsin Board on Aging and Long Term Care and worked In both Polk County and Milwaukee County as an Elderly Benefit Specialist. In those positions she  provided individual and community education and advocacy in the areas of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, etc.  Additionally, she administered the Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program in Milwaukee County, providing individual counseling to Medicare recipients and  offering numerous seminars on Medicare, Medicare Supplemental Insurance and related topics.

An ordained clergywoman for over 30 years, Dorcas says that her experience as a pastor and minister has helped her guide individuals through important life decisions--and she brings that expertise to insurance counseling as well.
